Jaleesa Danielle McEachin was born in Newark NJ on June 26, 1988 at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. When Jaleesa was in Kindergarden, she opened and closed her graduation. Thats when she knew she wanted to perform. When Jaleesa was nine years old, she wrote her first poem with the help of her mother. Her first poetry performance was at the Irvington Day Celebration in Irvington. After successfully performing there, she performed at local venues. Her first big performance was for the annual YoungLife gulf outing in Basking Ridge NJ. She then went on to perform with African Globe Studios in a play titled "Hallelujah Chorus". When she entered college, She was asked to be an extra in a Berkeley College commercial. Jaleesa was also a guest speaker for Celebrity Read in Newark NJ. Jaleesa is ready to broaden her horizon and take acting a little further. She is looking to land roles in film, commercials, voice overs, etc.. She believes that everything happens for a reason and that there is no such thing as a destiny. Life is a journey and the happiness or sadness of it all depends on the pit stops that u make.
